•†•[The Elite]•†• The Coya [Alphess]: Eztli
- The demigod of Tlaloc, the ruler of the land and the most important member in existence. She must be respected by all and her word is law to all those that reside upon her land. Every creature beneath her reign answers to her orders.
Those attempting to harm the Coya (alphess) will be immediately chased from the area and ultimately exiled. However, in more extreme cases, death is a ready option. [One of only two ranks (currently) that accept members into the pack.]
The Tlatoani [Alpha]: Acacitli
- As the Coya's mate, and equal, the King/Alpha must be treated as respectfully as the demi-god herself. They rule the land together as a pair, and all decisions are discussed thoroughly between them. One may not act without the other.
Those attempting to harm the Tlatoani (alpha) will be immediately chased from the area and ultimately exiled. However, in more extreme cases, death is a ready option. [One of only two ranks (currently) that accept members into the pack.]
Nocenyeliz [Royal Family]: Ruskin // Nadia
- This rank is reserved ONLY for the demi-gods, or Eztli's siblings. They act as Betas towards Eztli, and should be treated with as much respect as the Coya herself. Once the population grows, these members will be given their own territory.
[Please note, that this rank only extends towards members of the Southern Hemisphere; Eztli is on shaky terms with Eden and Ceres, though Omniitzal will be welcomed warmly into Tlaloc]
The Cheveyo [Advisors]:
- Only three members within the pack achieve this most respected of ranks, one from each of the main branches within the pack (Warrior, Shaman and Healer). They are all the most highly skilled within the warrior ranks, but each also something akin to the head of their branch. These members act as both body-guards to Eztli, and also as advisers for the Demi-God. This is a place of utmost honor within the pack, and is not something to be taken lightly; each Cheveyo plays multiple roles for their Alphess, and also they become her most trusted of friends.
[This rank may accept/decline members, though it is a rarity.]
- Yaotl Cheveyo -- Cobalt
This rank is reserved for the most elite of the warriors, surpassing even the War Chief ranking. This member advises Eztli strictly on the subject of war, fighting, training, et cetra. It's a rank only achievable through Eztli's approval, accompanied with the former Warrior Cheveyo. This member will take an Apprentice, though the Apprentice must have permission from Eztli; not just anyone can become Cheveyo.
- Tlalli Cheveyo -- Braeden
This rank is reserved for the most knowledgeable and most skilled of Tlaloc's healers. A vast knowledge of both native and foreign herbs is required, completed by the knowledge of how to apply and use these herbs and methods. This member is considered the 'head' of the Healers branch, and has the duty of exclusively tending to Eztli, as well as the other Cheveyo. This member will take an Apprentice, though the Apprentice must have permission from Eztli; not just anyone can become Cheveyo.
- Cochitta Cheveyo -- Teyacapan
This rank is reserved for the most skilled Shaman. While very few have the ability to make use of the incantations, rituals and ceremonies associated with Tlaloc, this member has an in-born ability to do so, therefore this rank is very hard to attain, and is rarely ever replaced. As close to 'magical' as any creature can get, the Shaman helps teach and aide Eztli in the rituals needed to appease the Gods that gave them this earth. Rarely ever will this member take an Apprentice, as the Apprentice must have that instilled ability to actually complete the rituals of Tlaloc's culture, though this Apprentice does not need Eztli's permission; even she cannot veto the Gods' decisions.
War Chief: None...
- The Head of the Warrior branch, just beneath the Cheveyo. This member controls the entire 'army' of Tlaloc, leading them in both battles and training. Being the leader of the warriors, this member lays out training regiments (which must be run through Eztli and the Warrior Cheveyo first), and different tactics that may be used in the event of a war. Must be a tactician, as well as a superb fighter in their physical prime.

•†•[The Branches]•†• The Cochitta [Shaman]
- Lead Cochitta -- None...
There is only a small handful of these throughout the entirety of Tlaloc.. It is the shaman's job to assist in the rituals and ceremonies occurring within the pack's borders. [Maximum of 3 in the entire pack.]
- Apprentice Shaman -- Quetzalcoatl
This is the last step towards becoming a full-fledged Shaman. These numbers are few, as they must possess some sort of inclination towards the magics used in correspondence with Tlaloc's ceremonies. This particular Apprenticeship can last up to several years, depending on the member's diligence. [Maximum of 1 Apprentice to a Shaman.]
- Shaman Pupil -- None...
The first step towards a member becoming a Shaman. This is the first rank achieved by those who show either an interest, or an inclination towards the Shaman ranks, and is the lowest within this particular branch. This is where tutelage starts, and the basics are taught to each individual.
The Tlalli [Healers]
- Official Tlalli -- Samuel
Full-fledged healer of Tlaloc, these members have learned much of, if not all that they can about the herbs found in Tlaloc's landscape. They are adept and highly-skilled, and treat a large range of injuries. These members treat all other pack members, regardless of rank or branch. [Maximum of 3 until pack grows.]
- Apprentice Healer -- None...
Second-level healers, these members are still learning all that there is to learn about the plant-life of Tlaloc, and their various uses. Still though, they heal all members of the pack to the best of their knowledge, usually under the eye of an Official Healer, as they have to learn somehow. [Maximum of 1 Apprentice to a Healer.]
- Healer Pupil -- None...
The first step towards a member becoming a Healer. This is the first rank achieved by those who show either an interest, or an inclination towards the Healing ranks, and is the lowest within this particular branch. This is where tutelage starts, and the basics are taught to each individual.
The Yaotl [Warriors]
- Battle Trainer -- Otto
These individuals answer to the War Chief of Tlaloc, regarding methods of training and the various exercises the 'troops' must accomplish. They are something akin to human-day 'drill sergeants,' and have distinct authority over their Warriors. [Maximum of 3 until ranks expand.]
- Tlaloc Yaotl -- None..
As a full-fledged Warrior, these members are highly-skilled and have a relatively high battle prowess on average. Often, they are divided into pairs or groups, assisting other members of the pack when needed. They act as guards in such times of peace, usually.
- Apprentice Warrior -- Koji
One step above 'Soldier-in-Training,' these members are still learning to hone their skills to a razor point. Usually, these members are assigned easy tasks (sometimes ridiculously so, much to their dismay), in order to help them get a feel for their own tactics and strengthen their abilities as well. [Minimum of 1 to each Warrior.]
- Soldier-In-Training -- None...
The first step towards a member becoming a Warrior. This is the first rank achieved by those who show either an interest, or an inclination towards the Warrior ranks, and is the lowest within this particular branch. This is where tutelage starts, and the basics are taught to each individual.
The Proletarians
- Head Proletarian -- None...
This rank plays many roles; this member is the one that all others in the Proletarian branch answer to. From pupsitters to hunters, the Head of this branch issues orders and oversees all that goes on amongst the other ranks. Also, the Head acts as a voice of the packmembers, and will often times request a council with Eztli and her Cheveyo, for the benefit of the pack as a whole. [Duties will change if pack begins to expand drastically.]
- Skills Teacher -- None...
These are the members of the Proletarians who hold the responsibility of teaching others their duties. There is one Teacher for every Proletarian rank, and they are each well-skilled in their duties. However, though they are skilled, they do not perform the duties of the ranks they teach; their job is to educate and train.
- Nopaltzin -- None...
This rank is for those aspiring for greatness of their own accord. Members who show the trait of becoming a talented and respected leader are placed within this rank of the Proletarians. These members are the Alphas of the Sub-Packs within Tlaloc.
- Hunters -- None...
As their title suggests, these members are those who scout out various hunting grounds, making note of the paths migrating prey animals take throughout the course of the seasons. They also do a large part of the hunting for the pack, usually lead by Eztli herself.
- Gatherers -- None...
These members do most of the grunt-work for their fellow pack mates. They gather herbs for the Healers, ancient artifacts for the Shaman's rituals, and on occasion smaller meals for those who are caring for the pups within the pack.
- Scouts -- None...
The scouts are the members of the pack that perform most of the surveying of Tlaloc's lands. They move between sentry stations gathering information, and also check the borders for recruits or intruders. They spend many days, and often weeks away from their homes at a time, due to their excessive traveling, but they are highly respected for it.
- Tecuhtli [Sentries] -- None...
Sentries are members stationed in important areas throughout the land of Tlaloc. They keep a vigil eye on the horizon, analyzing the signs of a change in the weather, to observing individuals who cross into their lands. Their howls trigger a chain throughout the various sentry stations, alerting scouts and any near by members of danger, or of an important figure entering their territory (ie: one of Eztli's siblings).
- Messengers//Runners -- Ringo
These members travel with scouts, or are at times stationed with sentries. There is one in every major territory with Tlaloc, and also with every sub-pack within the pack's territory. Their duty is solely to relay messages back and forth with the speed of the wind, and rarely do they rest when they've been given a message; they are one of Tlaloc's only way of certain communication.
- Executioners -- None...
Very few acts are punishable by death within Tlaloc's lands. However, those acts that are, this punishment is swift and final. Any creature that has taken the life of a Tlaloc member, has raped or needlessly killed, has attempted to hurt the Cayo, or a former member who has performed outright mutiny is subject to this punishment. These members carry out their duties with a strange sort of detachment; it is not a job for the weak-hearted.
- Pupsitters -- None...
These members are few, depending on the reproduction rate of Tlaloc every year. They guard and watch the pups, helping raise them when their parents are other-wise preoccupied with their own duties. In a way, this individual will become a sort of surrogate parent, or nanny, and ultimately will raise the pups for the majority of the six months prior to initiation into their respective branches.
