Hey guys, Random update with my own computer's setup. The O/S has changed, as Windows is a great O/S, but it's not what I need out of a desktop (Although it shall always have its place on my laptop). Right now I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon). It's a ridiculously good O/S considering the fact its actually FREE. Freakin' awesome. Runs good, looks sexy, far easier to use and install. Although, I must say, DO NOT INSTALL IT ON NEW LAPTOPS UNLESS YOU HAVE A LOT OF PATIENCE. Or, if you play games. Not good for games. But! It does have a program called GIMP, which is VERY much like Photoshop, only, once more, free. It comes pre-loaded with an e-mail program (like outlook) and Firefox, as well as a load of other awesome applications. You can download the installer CD from their homepage (search Google, too lazy and tired to find it right now >_>), or request they mail you one.
At present it's running two monitors simultaneously, so I can keep an eye on all my downloads. For those of you curious as to how it looks for the interface, imagine if Windows 2000 and Mac OS had a bastard lovechild, and there you go XD
